Manthey's kit is double adjustable KW units with progressive springs.

I won't consider progressive springs for my car. I got the Manthey camber plates, but I will combine them with linear springs and 2-way adjustable shocks. Most likely JRZ units.

Moton CS (7 positions) and JRZ (15 positions) are 2-way adjustable with remote canister. The JRZ are the equivalent to the Moton 2-way adjustable race shocks. JRZ are aluminum bodies, Moton CS are steel bodies (heavier) and Moton Race are aluminum bodies as well.

Stock spring rates:

Front: 280 lbs progressive
Rear: 550 lbs progressive

I've been recommended:

450/600 linear
530/680 linear
600/800 linear

Manthey's kit:

343/971 progressive

600/800 is way too stiff for a street car IMHO. Also The manthey kit
seems to be setting up the car for way too much oversteer when compared to the stock ratios.

I personally prefer a softer sprung car with well matched shocks and
big sway bars ;-)

The reason we chose Motons is the fact that they are race proven reliable, have great customer service and stand behind the product. I don't know if they are any better than the JRZ's, but the customer service issue sold me. I'm not going to bash the other importer, but if you are in the know, you know.

vegasgolf is right on. not naming names, but i have had lots of aftermarket "stuff" on various car. most aftermarket product, including some very BIG names, are nothing more than "fluff" or junk for lack of better description. the moton cs i have now has logged a total of 25000 miles (6k on track) though i am not the fastest guy out there, that's a lot of mileage for high perf shox. they have NEVER had ANY prob, and had very low gas leakage (2% over 10 months).
