Suspension on GT3
#16
OK, you guys who think the GT3 is comfy must live in well paved areas, coz it's like an angry wheelbarrow around LA's rain destroyed and potted streets. On the open road and at the track it seems perfect, but if you live in a badly paved urban area it gets old fast.
My Prius on the otherhand is a veritable hovercraft around town! :-))

I came out of a 2700 lb Carrera with a full race suspension on it, so my GT3 feels like a Cadillac.

Well my daily is a 04 chevy silverado 2500 HD diesel with like a 650 ton towing limit. the front suspension is well not there, its maxed out, designed to level out with a load. so maybe my daily sucks so much the GT3 is a nice ride to me. I know what roads around here REALLY suck so I make sure I choose an alternate route. Andrew lives among a couple billion people and there are 20,000 here in RIdgecrest. so most of the roads are pretty good. Most.

I had dinner with a German guy from Bilstein last week that had worked with Hans Stuck at some point (remember M3 GTR video) and he explained that Bilstein is simply the best . The shocks on our cars have a LIFE TIME warranty from Bilstein. So lap after lap, and year after year these things deliver consistent performance ... just like everything else in the car.
