I Like the O.Z. racing Superlegerra 3 piece wheels. 22 and 24 lbs. The available offset requires a 5 mm spacer for the front wheels only. Spacers (Porsche and matching longer bolts available from carnewal.com - a site sponsor. About 1K each for the rims. They are very strong and can stand up to pot holes which are a fact of life in these parts.

BBS LMs are one of the lightest wheels out there and they look great too.

Kinesis wheels -- ~20 and 22lbs -- they are great. Got them from Wheel Enhancement.

Go with forged wheels from either Kinesis, Fikse, or BBS.

Check out the new Jongbloed Aero 305 Aluminum forged wheel. It is 3 piece and very light---for my car the 18"x8" weighs 17lbs and the 18"x9.5" weighs 18lbs. The "Flying Lizard" GT3 ran them at the Daytona 24. I'm not sure what the weights will be in a GT3 application, but I would think pretty light.

Given the GT3's ability to cook it's brakes if you track a lot these Jongbloed Aero 305's could be very cool (ok, low pun, I know!). I'll email them and report back.

Talk to Bill (President of company) or Ryan (ex Racers Group) for Q&A.

Bob, thanks for posting the pic of the Jongbloed sans black, it looks stunning, but also like a cleaning day nightmare! Those guys are hard at work on a Sunday, and set me back this info......

These are suitable for a OEM GT3 and regular 996 and 993. And fitment for any car. It is a new product just out on the market. We introduced the 305 aero at the PRI show last December and it is now available. Material is 6061 T-6 forged aluminum. Standard finished is a machine polish centers , high polish rims and the ones you sent are black anodized. We can anodize most any color with an up charge. We can anodize the rim halves as well. They are 6061 T-6 aluminum as well. The construction is 3 piece modular so we have pretty limitless fitment.

Cost is approx 3500.00 per car set. anodize is 75.00 more per wheel.

We did some brake temps at the Daytona test days and measured approx 90 degrees cooler than our competitors. It was an informal test and we will be doing further testing through the summer.
A 9 x 18 front weighs approx 19 pounds and an 11 x 18 rear weighs approx 19.5

Mmmmm, light and well priced, anodized slate spokes could look really nice on my car, and hide the brake dust too!
