I am having a hard time deciding between a bra from speed lingare and a clear bra.

Any pros and cons to either one??

Easy Choice...Clear Bra. Looks better, doesn't move ( so it can't scratch). I have had mine on the Turbo for almost 3 years,best investment I've made.

Clear bra for the reasons listed above... be sure to find a good installer.

I'm in the same boat, just received my speed lingerie bra, which from what I hear is the best regular bra out there. Even though it looks like a great color match (artic silv), I decided not to put it on, and go clear bra, mainly because I would not be happy seeing my GT3 dressed up with a bra all the time, just takes away the beauty of the car in my opinion.

Went w/ the clear one, waited a an extra 5 days for the local guys to apply it....before it left the showroom. Mines Black. People stare and ask questions for 5-10 minutes, then someone will eventually notice the little line across the front and ask. I feel it's a must do. Had it done to my dedicated C2 (G.Red) almost 3 years ago, No problems. Hate to see what the car would look like with-out.
I also made them re-do the lower nose 3- times before they got it to satifaction ( no extra charge!).

i would echo twice ....clear bra is the way to go, and make sure your installer will back his work. i also had it placed forward/behind the rear wheels, along the rear valence and the mirrors.

I can highly recommend Mariano at CS Specialties (408-476-3332). He did my 360 Modena and I was very impressed with his workmanship. He is a perfectionist so allow a little more time than he quotes. He has done a LOT of Porsches also. Go with the Llumar film instead of the 3M, he will show you the difference (he will do either one you want, but I think you'll see the Llumar is the better choice.)

I recommend a Porsche bra. I use one only on long trips and for Open Road Racing. It works great except for the wind lifting up the small area between the headlights and the hood. I used it in a brief thunderstorm with no problems. I didn't notice any scratches, however my car is Arctic Silver. I'm not crazy about clear bra on dark colored cars. They don't look bad on lighter colors though.

What should one expect to pay for the clear bra? Is the 3M product good?

Gary recommended Mariano to me and I have to concur with Gary their work is excellent. They covered my cobalt blue GT3. Roughly fourteen hours of labor with both Mariano and his brother working in tandem. They also put a blue tint over my headlamps which helps set off the paint. Very cool. Llumar and 3M have some differences and are used in different places on the car. 3M more on the lowers and headlamps, Llumar on the more visible areas. Cost will depend on what you have covered.
