There is a guy on Rennteam who has had it done to his Mk1 and he is more than happy with it.
To answer another point raised, we would all be very disappointed if the latest offering from any manufacturer was not an improvement on the previous model.
I will come back and finish this particular train of thought once I have broken up my fighting children.
