Stunning car, great new wheels and lovely pics!!

IMHO 800px is a better web average, as on my DSL it is slow to load, and on my 24" display it takes up almost the whole screen, so for someone on a dialup and and 14" lap top it maybe a bit of a struggle.

BTW it looks like you are still in the middle of winter up there?

Thanks Andrew. I generally post 700 pixels, but in case someone wanted some wallpaper...I went for the bigger pix this time. I just love the picture quality of my Canon 10D digi slr...

Very nice, I especially like the last picture. You feel left out on the TOW pictures huh?

Yes I do feel left out. No one up here nearby to go out and play with...

Just a lonely GT3 in a vast sea of Porsche nothingness here in Upstate NY.

rockitman: My main display is 1920x1200 so your pictures are still too small. And what's this wallpaper crap? You drive a Porsche and still use a Windows machine? You obviously like good hardware so you owe it to yourself to get a Mac instead of a cheap imitation. Unless playing games are your primary criteria for selecting a computer.

Funny you say that Steve...I make a living on the Microsoft PC junk in order to develop apps that interface with databases on UNIX boxes. I have been eyeing a powerbook w/ 1gig memory 17" screen. 4K is a big nut...maybe this fall so that I can have the cream of the crop for photo/movie and music...

The only game I play is Gran Turismo 3 on PS2. It's a great driving simulator to practice line, turn in and track out. Got my Super License and just about every car you can get...Fun!!!

Chris,

The pics look great!

Hopefully Sunday's gathering will make for some more great photo-ops!

I can't wait to see your GT3 in person!

Hey Rockitman, nice pic's. I see metro region has a DE @ NHIS, are you thinking of going? How close are you to the Glen? As beautiful as your pic's are would be nice to see some leaves in them! I put my car at a friends in Dec. & haven't seen it since!

Foto Tip 4 U
Try using manual mode or appeture priority and shooting some at the wide open or close to it. Think you may like the results... the background will become less sharp and pop the car

First of all - terrific pictures!!! When I first saw them - I was wondering if you took them off Route 9 near Palisades - as I get down there quite a bit. Anyway - simply stunning.. Thanks!!!

Carmelo, are you going??? If so, maybe we can hook up - and I'm waiting to hear from Barry L. and a few others if they want me to announce it on Rennlist (in case they need to fill any extra spots). Also - I'm not sure if I'll be driving in that event, as I need to get new shocks first - which are a tad "pricey" for me right now. So - I may go and just assist the Instructors or whatever - but I don't know yet?

Anyway - hope to meet you there!!

Hi John, can't commit yet, will know soon though. Still working on my DE/summer schedule. In order to make more events I'm going to probaly do mostly NHIS & Lime Rocks, cause they are closest, really hoping for a couple trips to Glen also. I have met you at Makris, looking foward to another visit there also!
