Great photos and those new wheels and tires look great, any rubbing issues on rears? Have been reading other threads where others are asking if 19" x 11" with your off-set (50-55) will work on a 996 NB.

Hope the temps go down, my wife and I are flying over to Vegas this Tuesday and staying till Sunday for the Scholastic Trap and Skeet US Open Championships at the Clark County Shooting Complex. Will be out in the sun all and every day. Staying at the Tahiti Village so will be cooling off on the lazy river with a cocktail (or 2,3,4) in the afternoons.

Thanks! I love them and am super happy. No rubbing at all! Disclaimer though, I haven't driven it much for various reasons. According to the forecast, no real relief in sight. We are headed to Mt. Charleston today to get some relief. I think it is in the upper 70's to low 80's there today.

dumping a body ?

I lived in that godforsaken place in the early '80's

102 @ midnight, I made plans to get out of there in the next year

maybe I'm weird, but I'll take some cold and snow over never ending blue skies
and triple digit temperatures...I'm not a salamander

I will forever miss the expansive view of the mountains though

Car still treating you well HawkFan ?
I know you went thru a bit to sort it, it appears to have turned out well !!

Hey man, only dumping the bodies that fit in the frunk!

Yeah I have been here for 3 years now and I am never going back to Seattle. 30 years of wet, dark, cold, is enough for me. Even in the summer in Seattle you have a couple nice months but then when the sun goes down it's still 50 degrees! I will take a few miserable months here for 9 beautiful months!

The car is great! I took the front bumper off and definitely been in an accident prior to my ownership. Nothing still damaged, just overspray and what not. Only issue is the interior lights, frunk light, and engine lid light, does not come on without the key in the on position. Not worth it to take to a dealer to sort it out. Stereo retains its power and settings now and all is great!

I almost took a job in Hawaii but after doing some research regarding schools, housing, etc., we came to Vegas instead 😁

I suspected and with the help of a photo from KC was pretty sure that the front of the car had been painted / refreshed (the naked wing bolts)
couldn't determine if it was the result of an accident, but the car seemed ok

glad you're enjoying it !!

Which wing is that? One of Misha's?

Also, looks gorgeous, and I could never live there. I start melting at about 95...
