I've got a Passport Max II. It's a great unit. It works well, with very few false alerts, and app is great.

I have a V1 but the cops use - LASER - so it's to late when it tells me
cos it's already happened.
I like the WAZE app - as long as folks use it and update info - you can see where they are

I'm impressed that your LEOs actually use laser. Here in SoCal, they have to *gasp* stand to use the laser, while KA works while the CHP butt is comfortably in the CHP seat. Maybe this is why laser is still just an occasional occurrence in San Diego.
The LiveConnect stuff - if you're in an area with users who also have it - is awesome. Each detection is timestamped and geolocated. Even if the guy in front of you gets nailed because LEO is using laser, you might still get the warning in time.
I think I'm also going to bite the bullet on laser jammers, though I'll have to hide them since they're not street legal in CA...

Escort Max2 with Escort Live running in the background and Waze working the foreground. ah yea!
That detector is great for local drives where there are lots of speed cams, but on trips... I use my new Redline because it has tremendous amount of range. Waze is still a must! Seems like a more active community than Escort Live.

V1 with X, K, and POP disabled. Best of all worlds.

That is my issue with the K-40. I would love to disable the K band but some of the local LEOs still use it. V1 says their newest gen blocks blind spot, adaptive, etc. I just don't see how they can block K band from other cars and not block K band police radar.
