Waze. All my radar detectors ended up in boxes in the basement. On my bikes, I just try to keep my eyes peeled and use stuff I learned from R&T when I was a kid.. (that's the 70's btw)

Waze is cool, but I'm pissed I didn't get the Clarkson voice upgrade. The Mr T one sucked, so I went back to the hot English chick voice (Kate).

Counterpoint: My wife, after recognizing how many tickets she has avoided thanks to me ignoring her and installing a detector in her car anyway, now insists on one in every car. Mrs. Schnell is not a fan of burning money, but she IS a fan of driving like a bat out of hell. It's a ringing endorsement...

You can now record your own apparently... I'm planning to get on my buddy's phone and re-record the "turn left" and "turn right" instructions

I have an old V1 , an 8500, and a 9500. The V1 is my favorite but the 2 escorts work very well.

Thanks fellow members. I decided to go with the Escort iX. I'll report back on how I like the performance. Thank you again for all the feedback.
