There was a ME popped up on Dallas Craigslist on Wednesday ... meant to post about it, but now the ad's been taken down. Hopefully that means it has a loving new owner who will pop up here shortly!
From memory:
- # was in the 100s
- Common ME interior ailments - steering wheel wood was cracked, door handles / pockets replaced with black
- Tints and aftermarket wheels
- Mileage was pretty low, though, IIRC?

Anyone take a look at this reasonably priced example on Autotrader? The wheels are repainted which is common, but the wood still looks to be in great condition which is a big plus. Can't see the serial number from the pics.

Looks like they cropped off the top of the steering wheel. I'd bet it's cracking. The only thing I dislike about the ME is that fake wood accents.
Also, a new, low mile, one owner ME just came on the market in SF for $30K, crazy price!

Most Expensive ME on the planet!

Edit: Just saw your post above mentioning the SF one for sale. I guess its true that everything's more expensive in San Fran.

Selling My Millennium Edition
I am selling my Millennium Edition to purchase a 996 Turbo while they are still at a good price point. It is #827 and has 41,700 miles in excellent condition. There is a post in the vehicles marketplace if you know anyone who may have interest ($29,500).
Thanks

That is certainly fair; perhaps you are correct. I love the car and have mixed emotions about selling it - we’ve kind of bonded! I have the itch for a turbo but certainly wouldn’t be too disappointed if I am not able to sell this one.

We should get our cars together for a photo shoot, before your ME disappears from Indy.

Sorry to see it go Jason, but I think Bill is right, I'd be flabbergasted if it sold for $29k. Did you recently drive a turbo?

Don't think we've seen #388 before?

for sale at a dealer in San Francisco - $30,700, one owner, a shade under 47k miles. Looks in nice shape but the price seems a little optimistic to me ...
Mine may be for sale in a few months, so I'm watching the BAT auction with interest - $19,750 with three hours to go ...
