Default 911 in Movie/Tv Series remembered by 996ers

Being that a majority of us Porsche 996 owners judging by the response on the profession thread seem to be over 35 years old. I thought it would be interesting to post a nostalgia remembrance to when I got enthusiastic after seeing a Porsche 911 on screen. I would be interested in hearing what Movie or TV series maybe got you enthusiastic after seeing that 911 on the screen. I know it may not be as well known as that Ferrari 308 in the 80's, But I know what you you are saying that if I had just listen to that little voice in my head saying that Rick, T.C. and even Higgins would say it should have been just as famous - See what I just did there, HHHaaaaa! HHHaaa! nothing? ok I better just move on - Especially since I probably just annoyed at least half of you! BTW little known fact that the paint scheme on T.C's Island Hoppers Helicopter was a factory paint scheme. Ok now I lost the other half of you - This is why my wife prefers I just pay for things and not talk to others!

For me it was 1984 and the Movie was Against All Odds (Yes, the phil collins song also did play at the end!)
The scene where Jeff Bridges and James woods go head to Head down that busy street until that Garbage truck put an end to it!

What's yours?

Entourage...when Ari's wife gave him a Ferrari for their anniversary and then he got into a street race with a competing agent who drove a 997.

The 997 kicked the Ferrari's a$$, but I was still rooting for Ari. Love that guy...

Not sure, but I seem to remember the show Newhart (not to be confused with The Bob Newhart show of the 70's although this was a spinoff if i remember correctly) where they own a Inn in Connecticut had a Business owner next to them that owned the coffee shop named Kirk (Steven Kampmann) that use to date the young lady that was the Inn's house keeper and he had a Brown 911 on the show.

"Class" starring Rob Lowe and Andrew McCarthey.

The red Porsche conv.

Always made me cringe when the girl throws up in it!

Then Rob Lowe is shown washing it out using a hose on the interior...Oh boy there go the electronics!

Someone can bring up pics, I'm bad with that....

Not a 911, but this has to be the top of mountain of brand placement for Porsche...

Also, this one ranks right up there, especially for us 966 owners...

The street race scene in Entourage was a homage to the original scene from 'Against All Odds.

Mine was Ken Wahl jumping a 911 over the Berlin Wall in 1982's 'The Soldier'

Class with Rob Lowe as a rich kid in a private school. His friend pukes in it and he hoses the entire inside out with a hose lol. It was a red 930 i believe. Convertible too.
