Default Power Steering Hose Fittings

I'm in the process of ordering a whole bunch of parts after dropping the engine. During the process, those terrible power steering line fittings rounded out - the ones on the hard line side are the parts that are bad and they're definitely removable/replaceable but I cannot for the life of me find a part number for them. Anyone have any guidance?

Have you thought about used?.....and cannibalize the part for what you need? Any of these help? I know they are not for a 2002 C4S but I can't think that Porsche would change fittings.

the picture you posted looks like the one from an old thread here. I suggest you give Pelican Parts a ring if you can order just the fitting or if it is part of the hose/line. Check out FIG 8 in DIY link below:

Best of luck

Yeah.....

I think I may just be buying new lines, since it's the same price and I am pretty sure it includes the fitting!

Yeah. Watch what you bugger up when DIY...been there done that. Loading/unloading chairs in the back scratched leather console cover (not really bad, just annoying, more like a mark on it) - replacement = $850 = not replaced. Gotta love our cars.

It does appear a new line is the only way. Luckily Sunset, as Ahsai suggested, is a good option for the lowest price.

Yeah, Sunset rocks. I just ordered about $4k worth of parts from them for my engine rebuild.

I'm in the process of removing the engine in my '03 Targa and having a devil of a time to loosen these power steering connectors on the right (upper) side of the engine compartment. Are there special tools or a trick in getting these apart. I can't get wrenches on the hex's due to space...trying to use crow's foot wrenches/extensions/ratchets but not having much luck...any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

Yep some of the soft touch prices are crazy! Left or right upper dash vents... $850 each, drivers side door sill $985...
