flipping is defined as making a profit when selling - the last 5 porsches i've sold over the past 7 years have been at a break even or even a slight loss, so i would presume the answer would be no. i've also been hunting for a boat for the past 2 years and was the reason for my last 2 C4S sales which were last year - if you weren't so lazy you could have done some homework.
my 1959 356 super sunroof coupe sold last month is a car i have had for almost 30 years - restored it and have driven it all over the west coast. i thought i'd never sell my 356 but i couldn't refuse the offer, someone beating my doors down for years to own it - i won't discuss particulars because the local seattle buyer asked me not to.
i consider myself lucky to have the ability to buy a porsche for pure enjoyment, experience them, then move on to the next.
i've also helped many RL member buy cars and they have been pleased with my efforts - i've never asked for money and have never been paid to help someone find a car - i just love doing it. love the hunt.
my track record on RL well documents every move i've made.
i suggest you find someone else's post to crap on - if you need help finding one i'd be happy to assist - for free
that very well could happen ...ready to pull trigger on 2002 C4S silver/black but battling wife about this purchase - thought i'd never have to use that lame excuse

Well on your 3rd in a year can you really blame her?
Flipping is the ATTEMPT of making money. Doesn't mean you HAVE to make money. If you are good at it, you will make money. 3 cars/year is definitely in the flipping category. I flip cars to generate money for the hobby "car fund", there is no shame in it. I didn't call you a used car salesman, so why are you getting all pissedoff?
because you've crapped on my posts in the past and its irritating - and theres no making money flipping 996's no matter how good you are. now 356's and 911's 10-20 years ago was a much different $tory
Was the work done by any of these shops? LN Engineering uses Certified Installers and then there are preferred installers. If it was indeed done, given the hysteria over this issue, I cannot believe one of their Certified or Preferred installers would "forget" to apply the serial # sticker. http://imsretrofit.com/preferred-installers/
When I had mine done a few years ago by a certified installer here in Richmond, the sticker was prominently affixed to the top wall of the body of the engine bay. Can't miss it if someone wanted to check it.
