Unless it is a Tip, it is almost too good to be true. Best of luck with the PPI.

Pics will help us give you a more educated opinion. Maintenance/service history? PPI by indy or selling dealer? NTL, best of luck.

Sounds like a great deal. As kromdom said, let's see some pics. And, is it a tippy or a manual? Based on the price and that it is an '04 cabriolet, I'm putting my bet on tippy. Not a thing wrong with that, but it seems like there were a lot of 2004 C4S and 996TT cabriolets with tiptronic transmissions.

The "lot" cars - i.e. the ones not customized by a buyer in advance - were mostly silver cabs with tips (so sayeth The Companion), as were the bulk of lease vehicles. Leasing is also, I believe, why you can chuck a gluten-free kale muffin in any direction California and hit an arctic silver Boxster...

OP, we're pulling for you. One-owner 996's are getting to be as rare as truly clever analogies, and that's a low-mileage example for 12 years. If the dealer offers any kind of warranty, are you planning to purchase it? I'm not saying you should or shouldn't - just curious if you are.

Sounds to good to be true....For your sake I hope it pans out. Low miles says you have time before a lot of big maintenance items will start rearing their ugly head. Photos please....

manual all the way, bruh..
They've offered me a month warranty just for peace of mind... I'm not so sure about anything extended, I know there are lots of opinions either way... By nature I kind of like a bit of uncertainty... And any of this is counting my chickens before they're hatched until the PPI is done...yes it's by an indy

That is a very good deal indeed, PPI....it's like waiting for the birth of your first child, without the ****ty diapers.

Hoping it works out for you, pics please and update accordingly

A month warranty on a 12-year-old car is better than what I got - a handshake and a thank-you-very-much-for-your-business...

As a barometer, I paid $25,000 this past summer for my 2004 C4S Coupe, with 77k miles

Burgundy though, such an amazing color!

Drive the **** out of it the first month like 5k miles so you are covered if anything breaks

25k for 2004 C4S...I guess I over paid too. Not to mention the 7k in preventative maintenance. Keep an eye out for when I sell it in 2 years cause it will be a well sorted 996. Unfortunately it's not Burgundy either....
