Default what does your dealer give you for a loaner?

my car is at the dealer's for a week (repairs). they gave me a dodge neon claims porsche's allowance is $30/day for a loaner on warranty repairs. I come to find out two other dealers (much farther away) will give you a boxster. other dealers (non-porsche) will often give you something equivalent or close to what you've got. Q: what does your dealer do for you? the bill on this repair is probably ca $7k.

Mine give me a voucher for a rental from Enterprise. I end up upgrading to an A6 and pay extra

They have an MB dealership also and their service loaners are new MLs.

My dealer lets me use the phone to call Enterprise... they say that since I did not purchase the car from them I do not get a loaner.

Sloth,
you need to change your avatar and put the new QoG on there....and BTW based on your dealer's attitude, I guess you never will purchase a car from them, what a#%holes

Mine doesn't bother with a loaner - from the showroom they chauffeur you to a championship golf course for the day, drop the missus at a health spa, and pick you up in the afternoon after the work on the car is finished. And all as part of the service.

We have a Boxster Tiptronic and a Cayenne S available as loaners. Free of charge if you bought your Porsche from us.

My dealer gives me something from Enterprise. Not the greatest, but considering I didn't buy the car there and it is out of warranty, I guess I can't complain.

Default What's the deal?

Did your contract with the dealer include a specific type of loaner car when your car underwent service? If not, I think that you should be very happy to get a car at all!

This reminds me of people complaining to airlines when they pay for coach class seats and do not get their first class upgrades...

Look at the bright side: You get to drive a "normal" car so that you can really enjoy your car when you get it back.
