So there's this guy who knows a guy who know another guy selling this...lol, it's on eBay now but I wanted to post the pics in case the auction ends so everyone can see. Is this what the X51 did on a NA 996 (2nd air dam)? Didn't the car need a different tune for the additional A/F ratio? If anyone wants it, and you want to begin cutting out your rear decklid...it's $2,500.

Dammmnn sexy.
This would be a great project to combine with a Turbo rear deck on my C4S. The Turbo has a air intake on the right deck lid already

4S does not have additional snorkel on 996 lid. Not sure on 997?

Nope, that's a 3.8 X51 for a 997. I have the X51 and it doesn't get the sexy CF airbox. Visually, the only clue is the magnesium intakes vs plastic.

Actually I think the intakes are Sand Cast Aluminum, not Magnesium... fyi.

It still befuddles me why peeps do cosmetic upgrades that no one will really see. BTW, awaiting for my red anodized pressure plate housing...

Just ordered an underdrive pulley for the Cayman... They asked for my choice of Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black or Copper. It will NEVER be seen once installed.
