Wasn't the C4 not manufactured until 1999? It wouldn't be an early cart by default if that is an accurate statement.

it doesn’t appear to have the early 99 leather.

I think those are the sport seats, and I've seen a couple of early '98 builds with them. They were a somewhat uncommon option.

they’re definitely sport seats with painted backs.

My car was built in 9/98 with a VIN of 3653 so this one is about 1100 VINs later.

yeah agreed, and yep I’m familiar, just cheap 😂

do any 99 c4s have lsd? I’m guessing doubtful and probably the only 996 awd with lsd is the x75 optioned turbos.

Just to clarify, this is not a C4S...that body style didn't exist until the 996.2 iteration. This is a narrow body C4. I can't comment on the LSD option, only a full report or picture of the options sticker will answer that.
