I bought a 1990 928GT in red from a tiny used car lot in N Dallas. I paid $6000 for it. The dealer didn't know what he had. Of course, it needed some love, but c'mon, it was a 1990 928GT! Not only did I do it once, but I did it twice. Just a few months ago, I found another 1989 928GT in the back of a used car lot. The seller didn't know what he had. Paid $8000 just a few months ago for a 928GT! It's now running and driving around in fair condition. There are deals to be had everywhere.
Can't be all that busy as he claims, hell Porsche has over 200k for miles!!! Very cool wrap but seller seams fishy, can meet up police dept but can't have it dropped off for a ppi?
On a side note a guy in Lincoln, NE has two Porsches in this exact same wrap a brand new 911 Twin Turbo and also has a brand new Macan in this blue and looks even better in person. I always thought he had them custom painted but maybe not.
Dont forget no test drives either. How do people think they can sell stuff. He should send it to a consignment dealer if he is so affraid to meet people.

Sorry to disagree, but I was vehement on this point when I sold mine. My policy was, you can ride with me, we will go where you want, see it in action, and feel the limited scope from the pass seat. After that, we talk money, you put down a deposit, then I ride with you, and then we complete the transaction. The one time I blew it and let someone else test drive, he mangled several gear shifts, and stomped hard on the brakes. I told him to get out, not for sale, and left him standing on the curb.
Did u read the ad. It says no test drive, no outside inspection that its apperance alone should sell the car. Basically he is saying bring 30k to the police station and ill let u hear it idle. U at least took the person for a test drive, he states that he too busy to even do that.
The guy sounds like a pompus pos trying to sell a car that is worth less then most minivans.
I only took exception to your dispute concerning no test drives. He may be a real fem hygiene product, I don't know or care. I happen to agree with his position concerning test drives.

The whole "meet at the police station" stuff is a little much. If you're that scared of the general public, sell it to a dealer and be done with it. I'm sure tons of car thieves (in the sticks of the Jersey shore no less) have their eye on your bright blue Porsche and would agree to leave a trail of communications back to them to steal it on a test drive.
Ugly wheels.
As long as he let me plug in my Durametric or Snap-on, I would consider no offsite inspection.
No test drive, no purchase!
My prediction is he's going to end up with 2 Porsches soon as this one if going nowhere.
