If it checks out - that is a screaming deal! I probably would have passed on getting a BRZ last month if I had seen this.

 

What do you figure the add-ons such as Recarro seats, roll bar, racing seat belts, and extra wheels/tires contribute to the overall value? In other words, if such extras are factored out, what is the effective asking price for the basic car?

 

2002 C4S with only 18K miles for $39K popped up at my local MB dealer. I think it might be a little high, but I'm tempted!

Ah ha, I can see that now. Not a great many miles at the price. Probably no maintenance ever done unless it broke. But after the engine blows, maybe you can recoup your money in the part-out.
