This car was sold here on RL a month ago or so and I almost bought it. The previous seller(super nice guy) was in the SF bay area and I actually took a look at the car. It drove pretty well, just some minor cosmetic issues(minor dings and passenger quarter panel was repainted). The previous owner also mentioned that the motor was recently rebuilt because of a cracked block/head.

Interesting to see what this will go for. My guess is reserve not met. Seller says he's willing to just drive it if it doesn't go for what he wants.

Agreed. If he's been looking at some of the recent ads where sellers are in the $35k range for lesser cars, he's probably expecting stupid money for this car. If his reserve is in the mid 30's, he's competing with 996 C4S, 997.1, and maybe even a few 996TT's. There's an outside chance he finds that buyer who always wanted a brand new unmodified 996.2, but I think he's going to be disappointed.
