I'm still getting over my disappointment on that yellow C4S down the street being a Tip. What a great looking car.

I test drove a 997 Tip before I bought the 996. I wasn't super impressed, I dunno. Easy to drive, I guess, but not all that inspiring.

PDK is a lot more interesting, at least in cars with Sport Chrono. In regular mode, it does dull the car quite a bit more than I'd expect, but Sport Plus sharpens everything. Hyper-responsive, and that's when you stop missing the manual as much. It's actually quite nice in terms of changing the character and feel of the car to suit the situation.

I dunno how I'd feel about PDK sans the Sport Plus button though (which you don't get without Sport Chrono).

I have been tempted by this yellow one for almost a month now. If it had the IMS done I would probably pick it up. After a PPI, budgeting for IMS, and getting it back across country it is a little out of the range I want to spend. He is willing to drop to $24k if anyone is interested.

Wow, that's a beauty. It's a '99, so you're probably fine with the stock IMS. If you want to change it, just wait until it also needs the clutch done.

Looks like it has TC, which means it also has an LSD.
