This car has been on sale almost 6 months, and is now priced very reasonably. Anyone know what's wrong with it?

Too much gap on the front bumper. Missing tow hook cover. Chipped tail light. Dimpled and creased rear seats.

Turbo buyers are a picky lot...

Yeah I saw a few comments about a car with 58k miles. Apparently that's what they consider a high mileage car over on that forum. Some small part of me wants to get a 100k++ mile Turbo just to see the reactions (also because well-maintained, high mileage Turbos can be really good values...)

The front bumper gap seemed weird to me, totally missed the chipped tail light though.

Probably just not put back right after a radiator cleaning, but definitely something to look at.

I agree their view of mileage is ridiculous, but it is what it is which makes this one a bit over priced I think. Looks like a good car over all though with just minor stuff. Would be a great no worries DD.

Gap on driver's door looks funny, as well.

I ended up with a TT but I was almost about to buy http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...oupe-sale.html and still think it's a solid deal. I talked to Millersport and Chuck knows of the car and can do the PPI.

That's a nice '99 aerokit car. Probably more like a $20,000 car than $24k though.
BTW, Jymmybob, you need to do an intro thread.

Yeah, we were talking about that one a few months ago in the Craigslist thread on the 996tt forum. I think someone went to see it. It wasn't bad, but lots of minor issues that presented a picture of a car that was not well cared for. But still, at its present price, I think it's a helluva deal. Good example of a car you could buy, drive for a couple of years, lavish some TLC on, develop a service history on and sell it for a profit.

I was planning to once I get a chance to wash it this week. I think you could easily get it for 21k, maybe 20k considering how long it's been for sale. I think he was only asking 22k last time I talked to him.
