This is what gives the c4s a much wider appearance. Granted, 2.4" wider than a NB is not to be ignored. Wider wheels, and the same canopy gives it that extra wide appearance.

And I love it

I think the way the shoulders come into the c pillar makes the WB fairly striking. But I still like the sleeker more understated NB for the 996. 964 WB is about as good as it gets for me though. Different strokes...

What makes you think I'm offended? It doesn't bother me if you think the C4S is ugly. You're entitled to your opinion, just like me.

nah this is the (subtle) visual cue carry over from the 993 ... well done IMO. I do wish they would have also carried over the amber turn signal lens

We need a “what makes a C4S so special anyway” post. 😀

I think most of what makes the C4S special is quite obvious (last real “Turbolook M491” legacy). But there are internal uniqueness that aren’t visible, nor widely known; like the additional engine cooling, etc. I agree it’s unique enough to warrant a “following”

I think they both look great. However, I do prefer a narrow body with wheels as wide as possible. Just looks more agile to me. But make no bones about it, the C4S is a beautiful car. Anyone would be lucky to have a NB or WB.
