Did a neutron bomb go off nearby? The DME is not made with HEMP hardened components but for the price you would think it would be.

Smells like troll in here. 1 post, "broken Porsche" topic, and the diagnostic evidence consists entirely of "it stalled" and "it has fuel"?

Don't cross that bridge, billy goat!

Actually, he made the same post in the Reddit Porsche forum yesterday before posting here - so I doubt it's a fake. He replied there a few times as well, give the guy a break!

Anyways, I have to agree with the fuel diagnosis as well. Judging from your questions over on reddit, I think you need a shop to plug it into the computer and scan the codes.

Good luck.

I'd also guess fuel pump from the limited info here - esp if it cranks. Not sure how easy it is on these cars to screw fuel pressure tester into injection rail - but you can rent those at auto parts store or just take it local indie to diagnose And replace . Not sure where pump is located in this car ( in most new cars it is in the gas tank itself) or the cost to replace ...

Eagle, wtf are you thinking? Your car has way too many miles on it for an 04. Its stalling because its trying to tell you "STOP DRIVING ME"! Please park the car in your garage and begin an immediate engine drop. Your a n00b here so we're assuming you didnt see the forum provided diagnostic flow chart to troubleshoot your issue. Please keep us posted.

OP, are you still waiting for the light to turn green?

You probably have a red light sensor installed. Once it turns green, you will be on your way. Patience, patience.

No, not the same. You will note that the guy on Reddit has a PROSCHE. Completely different car.

The more troubling question is why did he go to Reddit first? Does he really think that Reddit can explain the 95,000 modes of failure for the 996 "Prosche"?
