Credit for this goes to "Vampyre" great site works on 1995 Porsche or newer. Very useful if you're shopping and what to find out EXACTLY what your prospective Porsche you're considering came with. Just remember that the third letter is NOT a letter it's a ZERO. Also VIN is case sensitive.

OOppps! Sorry not working.

Very nice. My car was almost $90k pre-tax. Thank you first owner for getting me all the options I wanted.

Interesting...I never ran the build sheet off my VIN before.

All my paperwork on the car says Meridian Metallic...the build sheet says it's Arctic Silver Metallic using the VIN. Also sold for $85k...and they never took delivery of the hard top.
Thanks for the link

Seems useless...I put in 3 known good VINs I've had (one 1986, Two 1999) and it found neither of them.

Maybe because the links I posted are for OPTION CODES...not VINs particularly useful in deciphering the OPTIONs STICKER under your frunk

It didn't find mine either. I used the zero instead of the letter O and it says 'No data available in table'.
also tried year and model all divisions, same result.

website was flaking out several days ago. Got the info printed for both my 996TT and 996 C4S and then it wouldn't work anymore. Believe that was last Friday.
