Must be a fluke. The engine is probably about to implode. You should probably sell the car for about $10k, because that's all it's worth at this point.

McBit, you should switch from KM to MLS. It will add about $5K to $10 k in value to your car.

I know....a mere 62k miles .... but it sounds a lot more in kms.
Interesting thing is that a lot of cars start getting dumped here at 100,000 kms which is a mileage I have no issues with.

100k miles (or km) on a car is just some imaginary line made up by people that is meaningless on a modern car, IMO.

I agree, but 111111 miles is totally different. A Zen thing.

I hear ya on that one.
I just meant in terms of the values of cars plummeting at 100k miles.

agree 100%, 100 mph is a magical number for some but means nothing in kph so 200 kph works for me, as does punters offloading their cars at 100k kms.

Well...it just got broken in! Congrats on the mileage. My DD has 128,000+ with no drama. Enjoy it everyday!

On the Honda S2000 forums they have a thread for 200k+ plus with dozens of entries and a thread for 300k+ with a few entries I believe the most was a Craigslist ad for $6,900 and the car had 370,000 miles.
