So I sold my 04' 911 C4S about three months ago only to get right back into one after missing it so much!!! At least I got a sweet deal on an 02' C4S with FVD stage 2 upgrades and serviced by RUF Auto in TX. Great people to deal with so far!

996.2 C4S is the best looking post-964 Carrera in my opinion.
No VW Beetle lights. nicer looking fenders than the standard 996s and the muted 991 fenders.
Looks great in mesh BBS. Can be bought for peanuts relative to the styling you get.
I nearly bought a guards red 04 C4S in late 07 to use during winter, glad I passed because 996 prices nose-dived with the market crash a year later. Low mileage examples are now a great find. However, I still consider the 996 GT3 the best Carrera value of all but granted the 996.2 C4S is not a two season car like the GT3.

Gotta love the C4S, haven't driven anything newer than my '03, but agreed that for the money you can't get much better or more fun. Sold an 89 C4 because it was a dog compared to the C4S!
