Default Any tricks or ideas to keep car safe at motels?

Wondering if anyone has come up with ideas about keeping car safe at motels for overnight stop. Besides obvious, try to park so in view of front desk or in front of your room and in plenty of light.
How good is the alarm system on 2002 996? Best way to arm system?
Best way to test alarm?
thanks

In car cctv stickers off ebay (you can actual get in car cctv reasonably cheaply, although the ones I've seen use wifi so probably only any good v near home), the stickers are probably enough for people to think they may be pursued for any damage...take them off again when you're back home...

You could also make up fake reserved signs for the spaces either side your car lol

Rent your car a room too?

JK...but when you think about it, the defining difference between a hotel and a motel means your Pcar will be parked pretty close to your room instead of in a large parking lot. Might actually be safer there, unless they rent rooms by the hour!

I ask the front desk if I could park in the registration area so they can see the vehicle.

All the above and a hidden kill switch. If the car's nearby sleep with a window cracked so you can hear a diesel tow truck....

Locking car cover might be a good idea. Without a Porsche crest.

perhaps another obvious item is to make sure you don't leave anything of interest visible in the car. Take everything loose with you inside.

Will not matter as everyone will know what it is from the silhouette. You'll probably need to place a cardboard box at the back to throw off the shape.

Or... Just back in your car so the front headlights are showing and no one will mess with it.

Leave an open, half-empty a box of .45 in the passenger seat.
