About driving in the snow, what kind of preparations would one have to take to driving it in the snow? Is it at all bad for the car to drive in it if its less than a few inches?

Get the roof rails and roof carrier. Then you are all set. Try that with a Lambo!

I drive my C4S all year, including driving in the snow. The key is to put proper winter tires on the car. It's not bad for the car to drive it in the snow. If it's deeper than 4-inches it can be problematic due to ground clearance issues.

For a C4S, you need to drop down to a 10" rear wheel for winter tires per Porsche recommendations. There aren't snow tires available to fit the 11" standard rear wheel. It's best to have a set of dedicated winter wheels and tires. Other than that, just get some winter floor mats and you're good to go!

That reminds me, any recommendations on rubber floor mats?

I bought mine at WeatherTech. I'm happy with them.
