This morning when I was looking out from the window I was really surprised. The cab on my 99-996 was fold down and I´m 100% sure that it was up, locked and alarm on when I left it yesterday. Have anybody ever heard of this???
This may be like the 8" window drop after locking the car and walking away. Strange things happen when the battery voltage starts to get low. Check your battery for voltage and charging system. When was the last time you replaced your battery?
Isn't it always raining in Sweden?? at least in Stockholm? Had two roommate in college from there and all they did was drink.. everyday.. then they told me the weather sucks there so the stay in a drink..haha

There are only two ways the roof of a 1999 Cab can FULLY come down. 1. the key in the door lock held to the left until the top goes completely down and the cycles ends with the door windows going back up again. 2. By pushing the button on the dash and holding it until the completion of the full cycle when the door windows go back up.. I am not calling you a liar but that's the only way that roof will move. Were you drunk out of your skull when you supposedly locked the car. Another question, were the door windows up or down when you got to the car in the morning? Another question, do you sleep walk? For the life in me a low battery cannot cause that roof to move. If the battery was low or failing then you wont get the roof to even move an inch. So don't waste money on a new one yet. Get it tested by all means. They can test it free at most places for you. Another question. Are you taking the **** out of us? All fair enough questions I M H O... Another question, has an ex girl got a key for your car? Or a best friend taking a rise out of you when you were asleep. Cars like that shouldn't be left out on the street anyway, they should be garaged.
Ok experts, here we go. Cab fold down at least 5 moore times! I have seen it live once. Car locks it self up and folds the top down as if l remote it with the key. The only differens is that when the windows have reached the top they drop again. Last time was this saturday when we left my brother's 993 at a well known P-mechanic here in Sweden. We were in is office looking at videos at last weeks trip from
SPA and Nürnburgring when he looked out from the window and said " your top is down!!" One moore thing. When l'm driving the car, suddenly the interior-lights activates.....
Have you or some technician installed any electronic device in your car lately where they had to tap into factory harnesses? This can mess things up if the techy had no clue what he was doing. I had this happen to me when i installed a remote starter in my old Lincoln. The car seemed possessed! Turning thing on and off as it pleases, and not doing it when i want. Rdgardless, it sounds like you may have some wiring issues.
