My car is a C4 and a tip......
Stealership attempted to charge me $1,800 to R&R the engine just to replace the AOS back a few years ago.
I don't know how much this is going to cost, and I don't really care........ I will never take either of my P cars to a dealership for repairs again.

make sure the wrench installing the IMS properly coats the bolts with sealer when installing. i have a post w/photos showing install/sealant application on my 99 996 last year.

My Indy, half that including an oil change, AC service and they even washed my truck.
