Default Upcoming Service - Too much $$$?

Looking for feedback on cost for some upcoming service I'm thinking about:

L&N IMS Bearing Kit
RMS
Clutch Kit inc refacing flywheel
Air / Oil Separator bellows
Water Pump / New
Gasket / Water Pump
Coolant / Factory
T-stat, Housing & Gasket / Low Temp
Serpentine Drive Belt
Mobil One Oil
Oil Filter
Cam End Cover

Total out the door with labor is 4K.

Any thoughts? Am I missing anything?

My recent AOS/IMS/RMS and clutch plus oil change cost about $1500 in parts and $1300 in labor. I think you are getting a lot of work done for a low $ amount. Sounds good to me.

Indy or dealership?

Why "resurface" the flywheel? For all that effort & costs, I'd want (to pay for) a new one. Maybe even a LWFW.

What is your mileage? What about plugs and a brake fluid flush, too?

I don't think you can resurface the flywheel. If it's beat, you need a new one.

That's quite a bit of work so the price seems reasonable. If you need a new flywheel the price will go up by at least $800.

I had less than that done with the same cost out of the door. So yes, that's a good price!

Actually "Dress contact surface" is how it was written in estimate. Not sure what this is exactly.
Low mileage (35k) 14 year old car
Plugs and fluid flush probably a good idea

That's funny. "Dress contact surface" is fancy-speak for "will spray liberal amounts of brake cleaner and wipe with a fresh rag". Any warped flywheels I've ever seen are replaced and not turned like a brake-rotor.

This is often done with a air tool & scothbrite pad attachment to throughly clean & prep the surface prior to final cleaning with brake cleaner. Works very well on used, true brake rotors. What you need to keep in mind regarding the flywheel is not only its current condition but it's condition until you have another chance to replace it for free labor!
