P O R S C H E mod

This is an album of my latest P O R S C H E mod. I know it's far from being 'bad ***' as you young dudes would say, but I quite like the effect. The lettering was meant for a 928 but I thought it would go well on my 996. Thoughts please. Better if you put the album on slide show.

There's space on the left and right bumpers for '996' decals!
As other's said, it's a little much. Any one of those by themselves would probably have worked in some way, but all three is a little much.

WAY too much going on back there and frankly, makes the car look cheap. I like the Porsche lettering, though, I think it should be on the engine cover and should be the only badging back there.

I agree, too busy, I saw someone remove the 911 and the carrera and replace it with 991 P O R S C H E and i thought that looked pretty good in black.
maybe someone can dig up pics.

My '99 silver came with rear badge delete from the factory. It had nothing back there. I always thought of my 996 first as a 911 so I put that back there. I liked it! I thought if I ever got a Turbo, I'd remove the chrome Turbo script and replace it with 911. Got the Turbo and did just that. I'm generally one to understate things and feel more is usually less as far personal things.
With that said, I love what you did! If it makes you happy, I'm happy. 100% stock cars as they left the factory are such that they are tolerable to most, truly loved by very few. This excludes special ordered highly optioned cars. Individual customizing enhances the beauty of the car in the eyes of the owner. This will generally decrease its appeal to the broader spectrum and incite greater passion for those liking as well as disliking what was done.
If you're trying to sell a car, keep it stock, otherwise let your imagination go.

It's your car, so you should do what you want.
That being said, I think it's too much. I also think the new branding on the 991 is too much. You don't need "Carrera", and "911" and "Porsche" on the back. It's overkill IMHO.
