Default Pioneer AVH P8400

It's relatively new but it looks like a good upgrade. Anyone know anything about it? I plan to use a local shop for the upgrade - they've got the equipment, the conversion kit and the experience!

I have it, replace my 4400 with it, what would you like to know? It's a great deck in my opinion, can't beat it for the price.

That 8400 unit comes with bluetooth? Is the unit hardwired to the mic and is it compatible to the 996?? TIA

PS the installation is incredibly easy, takes about an hour if you dont know what you are doing, the conversion kit is on eBay...

Huh, thanks for the info guys. The shop wants about 300 bucks for install...if i could do it myself it'd make the decision a lot easier! Frankly I just might go with a straight head unit swap....

ok im convinced.. full screen is the way to go!

question, how durable is the unit? im planning on detaching the face at least once a day.

also where did you get your trim kit? im thinking of getting the euromotorspeed one from ebay, but kinda pricey.
