We were unable to externally diagnose the reason for the abnormal noise coming from your engine. We regret to inform you that in order to fully diagnose the reason for the abnormal noise we would need to completely dismantle your engine at the rate of $150 per hour at 80 hours of labor. Once the problem is identified new parts will be available for purchase at MSRP + margin, and then the engine reassembled by one of in house engine build "experts" (because we do this all the time). The reassembly will require 80 hours of labor. Because of the extraordinary cost this would incur including parts and labor, we recommend a more sensibly priced replacement engine for your vehicle, which is currently discounted at $28,000, including a non-refundable core deposit.
