C4 owners, how does your car launch off redline??

You, sir, have taken the crown of king troll here. (if I'm wrong I'll gladly eat crow)
Instead of expecting everyone on this forum to just believe you just because, you could link some articles about your chevelle, writeups about these custom turbo jobs, fuel injection systems, rebuilt viper transmissions, race engines, race car wiring jobs, etc.
I mean, there MUST be pics and write ups on at least one or two of these jobs you've done right? Certainly anyone capable of all of these things would be well known and likely written about somewhere?
Here, I've made a list so that you could pick from whichever you like:
--The 5 year old post you dug up on LateralG was a car I built that got a 7 page feature in PHR magazine
--I build and design custom fuel injection setups for anything needing one for people and myself.
--I build Dodge Viper 6 speed manual transmissions and adapt them to Chevy LS motors for race/track applications
--I rebuild automatic transmission of any make or model cars, specifically BMW
--I design and fabricate headers, turbo systems etc for whatever needs a turbo.
--I build custom tubular control arms, roll cages,
--wire race cars from scratch,
--build race engines,
--have had a patent for a wheelie control module I designed
Again if you turn out to be for real I'll be the first to apologize but I can't believe anyone capable of everything you say wouldn't see how trollish this whole thread is.

Guys, I am not claiming to be anything, but I seem to have to keep defending myself.
My background, and some possibly pointless rambling;
My name is Scott…
I am a very selfless guy, I go out of my way to contribute and help others. I was a welding engineer and manager for 10 years and quit my career to pursue and become a registered nurse for the love of helping people and saving lives...
My recently deceased father owned Engine & Transmission Exchange during my entire life. I spent my summers off of grade shcool as a mechanic starting at the age of 7. By 12 I was rebuilding engines and doing full automotive service on any make or model vehicle that rolled in the shop provided my little 12 year old muscles could handle it.
Cars are in my blood and I have owned roughly 100 vehicle in my 34 year old life, I own a mobile auto repair buisness on top of my career because I love it so much. I just have to keep my hand very clean with rubber gloves, patients at the hospital would probably not appreciate greasy fingers!! Lol
The 5 year old post you dug up on LateralG was a car I built that got a 7 page feature in PHR magazine. That was a 1000hp twin turbo 6 speed chevelle with monster brakes all around, dropped to the ground, and geared to be in Hot rod magazines “Top Speed Challenge at the Maxton mile. It was supposed to be the worlds first 93 octane pumpgas Chevelle to hit 200 mph in the standing mile. And as to why it never happened, after the magazine feature, I transformed the chassis into a 200mph capable machine. At the same time I found my wife of 10 years sleeping with another man and went through a nasty divorce and lost everything including my cars, assets, half my retirement saving, my self esteem, hope, and self worth… 4 years later now, I have all that back and am starting to really get my hands into another serious project.
I build and design custom fuel injection setups for anything needing one for people and myself. I tune many makes and model vehicles using different software, I build Dodge Viper 6 speed manual transmissions and adapt them to Chevy LS motors for race/track applications. I rebuild automatic transmission of any make or model cars, specifically BMW and their wretchedly unreliable transmissions. Being a previous welding engineer, I design and fabricate headers, turbo systems etc for whatever needs a turbo. I build custom tubular control arms, roll cages, wire race cars from scratch, build race engines, have had a patent for a wheelie control module I designed for high powered drag boats, motorcycles and cars, and the list goes on and on and on…
So basically, I am a perfectionist person of many skills. I love to help people and I love motorsports.
I also push these outside normal limits and think outside the box as much as possible, that’s why I know what I do today. I do not brag much and that’s why you guys must think Im just some noob moron talking out his *** on here with outlandish questions. My questions always serve a purpose for some plan or idea I have. I see nothing wrong with asking if someone else has tried it before…
So hopefully this clears some things up, but I am sure this will just fuel some of you to tear me a new one and try to discredit all ive accomplished in my life…
But if this hasn’t, and you are in the Milwaukee area, I would love to have a beer, talk shop, and even help anyone on here with custom welding fabrication, engine tuning, engine or trans rebuilds, auto repair or whatever you may need. I have the equipment equal to that most any shop, but my largest asset is my love for motorsports, a crazy amount of ambition, and having had the opportunity to repair thousands and thousands of different vehicles in my young life…
Have a great Sunday.
P.S. I bought a 996 today….

I'm done here guys, thanks some of you.
I'm not gonna continue to be be bashed for no reason and don't want to associate with people who are going to charge anyone with guilty until proven innocent. Im not gonna have to give DNA samples and have you interview people I know just to quench someone's ego.
Am I asking anyone of you all this crap!?!? I have NOT ONCE questioned anyone's knowledge from their questions, or tried to belittle them.
I am Nitrorocket on at least 50 forums and have NEVER been through this crap, I've told you my story, I'm just a guy who's a car/bike lover, April 2007 phr magazine was my feature. I am not a big picture taker or bragger, so you not gonna see alot of work ive done, but like i said... If you ever want to go for a beer and shoot the **** it will become apparent everything i said is teue and more. Which I shouldn't have even had to say or go through anyway.
You know what im talking about, its easy to spot people who are full of ****, i am not one of them and and a strong promoter of "do unto others as you want done unto you", I don't lie cheat or steal..
For the "troll" guy, look me up on LS1tech if you "have" to see my knowledge and stuff I've bought sold. Or write ups I've done teaching people how to tune cars to 1000 hp levels using 93lb/hr fuel injectors on the stock ECM. Or the boost per gear micro switch setup I developed to change boost levels based on gear selection on a turbocharged 6 speed trans cars. See, do I have to brag to be credible?? This is rediculous?
I actually just looked myself up on google... There is 28 google pages of info on me if you are one of those people who have to try to dig up dirt on someone...
Good day

You sort of asked the same questions back in 2007....https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...ml#post3921758....

Wow, time flies! Yeah, I remember back then I was talking with Markski about some crazy stuff with his 996 TT, he even offered to throw me the key and take it for a ride back then, nice guy. He has that fast 996TT.
Alot changes in 5 years and I am sure there is much more info and experience out there now...

Nitrorocket - listen - here's the thing. Like you, most of the people on this board are pretty well educated guys (and some gals) who appreciate fast high performance cars.
We're generally all nice guys who do a lot to help one another in the community for the betterment of the Porsche community.
But I have to say it's really rare to see people getting into drag racing here on this forum. Some people in the 6speedonline forums are more into some of that stuff but they have a younger demographic and like to post stuff like "is my 996 faster than a BMW M3/Lexus IS/etc etc etc".
So most people have been unhelpful in your eyes as we don't have much to add to your drag racing interests - but that doesn't make us 'garage queen' weekend drivers who just detail our cars. MOST of us actually do work on our own cars (to varying degrees) and most of us do road races.
Anyway, you have a beautiful Chevelle - I don't think many of us doubted the veracity of your claim that you have hot rod magazine winner - http://www.popularhotrodding.com/fea...e/viewall.html
But I guess where the support for you dwindled a bit when you decided just because we didn't share your drag racing interest we were all weenies... AND you had this huge list of accomplishments that somehow didn't add up - but then again that probably happened because you were really trying to validate yourself - which I have to say - you should never feel the need to. Who are we to judge you? (just like who are you to judge us).
You mentioned in an earlier post you just bought a 996. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't - maybe you said that just to gain more validation - again it's not necessary!
If you did, post pics of her - it's the best way to reintroduce yourself!

Thanks!!
I only started to get defensive regarding some of the negative posts that were trying to shoot me down or make me sound like a troll. People should jsut assume someone is legit and just answer their questions to the fullest ot not post at all if you dont know or are not trying to help.
Thanks.
Anyway... Anyone else really try to setup and launch a C4 porsche?? Tricks? Experiences?

I cant post on that forum... Ive been trying for years without any response to get my account acctivated.
About 5-6 years ago I was on there and made posts and such. A couple years later, maybe from no use, my account says awaiting email activation and I cannot get them to respond or resolve the issue.
So currently, this is the only forum for me.

Go easy, start taking a few baby steps before trying to run. It will work out.
Tell us about your new car too, we love to hear your impressions.
