Broad head on the bolt makes me think its for holding platic in place. Not sure otherwise.
That power steering fluid eats rubber and such except the plastic its stored in of course. Maybe some degreaser spraying down where the stuff got on would help keep from any bad resulting to hoses and rubbers.

Yahooooooo! That's great news!!!!!!! Great work.
Not sure where that bolt came from, but it looks trashed for sure.
You might want to check the condition of the flywheel pulley. They only cost about $70 or $80 to replace. Cheap insurance from it blowing up and destroying your serpentine belt leaving you stranded.
You can lay the pulley on a flat table and see if it is like a potato chip, or if there is excessive scoring, or if it is out of round or cracked.

I'll bet that the "bolt" is part of vibration damper.
There is one just below the throttlebody, or should be.
Looks like this...

It looks fine.. i could not tell if it was leaking since i dumped powersteering fluid all down the front of the engine. Atleast it should be easy to replace when that time comes.

Update: I received a new oil level sender and ignition switch today. Installed the switch and the flicker is still there (ignition "on" and engine "off"). I am running out of ideas on the flicker, maybe I could test each fuse to see if there is a draw from a specific area or component.
I installed the oil level sender and realized I could not put it back in the way I pulled it out. The passenger side intake plenum needed to be removed otherwise I would snap the new sensor in half trying to bend it in the hole. Simple job with the a/c compressor removed. Also, I noticed a vacuum actuated solenoid on the pipe that connected the right and left plenums. This solenoid moves a butterfly valve, what is its purpose?
Anyway, the tensioner and crank pulley bolt will be here Wednesday.... I will post my next update then.
