Default Omaha X51

I recently traveled to Omaha to purchase this 2002 996 from a fellow rennlister aka X51. Thank you X51 for such a nice 996.

I just added the Aero Kit MKII along with adding GT3 Wheels powder coated black. Attached are some pictures along with my 2001. Twins! I know obnoxious and problematic but what can I say?

Very nice, enjoy the twins in great health.

Will you be keeping both cars or selling the MKI?

Thanks for the comments. The 01 Carrera is my track car which I have been doing DE and Club Racing in Stock H. I had a 2003 Turbo for the street. While the Turbo is an awesome car, I did a double take when I saw this 02 X51 for sale. I thought why not buy the 02, sell the Turbo, and put the difference in the bank. My plan worked out as i sold the Turbo on ebay to a local buyer. Real nice guy and it was his first Porsche!

Of course I could not leave well enough alone so I put $7000 in the Aero. I am done now right?

Sweet!
Are the GT3 wheels 18 x 8.5 and 11s? These work on a non GT3 NB car without mods?
How about 18 x 9s in the front?

thanks.

Sure. The 996 Carrera and GT3 are the same narrow body. Of course the Turbo and C4S are widebody. GT3 wheels dimensions are 8.5X18 ET40 Fronts (25 Lbs) and 11X18 ET63 Rear (27 Lbs). Tire size 235X40X18 and 295X30X18. Bought Hankooks for now as they are half the Michelin price. The Hankooks ride very well for the money I must say.

Same here. I had CCW make two sets of wheels with these offsets and widths for the same purpose.
