Default Top Gear Christmas Special 2010

The "Three Wise Men" travel in small sports cars from Iraq to Bethlehem! Hair-raising and hilarious.

Watch it fast, as the BBC gets these pirated versions pulled pretty fast.

Thanks! I love the line, "How does a bullet split into three parts while traveling through a Mazda?!"

I'm not sure why they are an exception, but FinalGear.com has all of the episodes, from Season 1 on. And the episodes from Top Gear Australia, Top Gear America and Fifth Gear.

Top gear is rubbish IMO. The cars are cool and the track stuff is nice but the contrived challenges and mishaps they get into is all choreographed for the camera. USA version is the same. "Oh no" the car is sinking and "oh no" they are going to leave me behind. I'm going to race the bullet train, I'm lost, ect, ect, ect. One exception was the episode where they painted slogans on their cars and drove through Alabama was slightly amusing, I have to say. I think they were actually in peril during that scene. LMAO.

That was a long episode, and somewhat contrived.

I agree. Unfortunately.

I used to love Top Gear. It was unmissable for me. It was hilarious. Side splittingly hilarious.

These days, it is so super-successful (isn't it THE most watched program on the planet or some such stat) that they just seem to be either running out of material, or just trying too hard.

This special was painfully contrived, choreographed and scripted. So was the one before it.

Shame. Real shame.

They hit a high point with the Bolivian trip a few years ago and have struggled to equal it again. But I still think it is still side-splittingly hilarious.
