taco wing?

It's not really about looks, it's about safety. The wing provides tremendous down force and is meant to be balanced out by the front bumper - not having the front bumper results in unsafe handling at higher speeds.

Yes, you can balance it with a different front bumper cover. However, if you are not tracking the car, it honestly won't make that much difference and it definitely won't make it unsafe, particularly if you put it in the lowest setting. I'm running one on my race car right now. I put a GT3 nose on the car, and found that in high speed turns I needed downforce on the back to balance the car. But when I put it on first at the lowest setting, it did VERY little. So I race with it now fully "up".
For street driving I would not worry about putting the taco wing on. If you are driving the car hard enough for it to matter, you probably should be arrested.

I bet after the wing install you will shortly add more stuff to the car anyways
I think the wing looks great on its own anyways.
did you already buy the wing ? because it can be pricey ....
I actually have a gen2 wing that I never installed because I never manage to buy a gt3 bumper... may be I should go for it as well![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
mine is new and unpainted so it is a little more work. I wish I could have got a taco wing as they are so different, but could not find one for sale at the time

you will notice the difference in handling as low as 90 mph. If you always follow the speed limit, then what has been said previously is true, if you do not, then you should heed the warning.

I don't think the wing would look bad on it's own. However, what I don't like is when people add a after market front bumber, and don't change the side skirts and rear bumper at the same time.

If your car is white, the full aerokit would look great I think. I wouldn't do just the rear wing, if you want an aerokit car, selling yours and buying one is probably more straight forward, and I bet you can find one that already is lowered and has after market wheels on it.

Since this is opinion based on the aesthetics side (I claim ignorance on the physics):
I had a 99 Factory Aero, and I have seen cars with an added Taco Tail only. It looked weird to me - unfinished. More like a tuner car, where the guy adds a huge tail on top of the civic, with nothing else (well maybe a coffe can muffler too).
Again, just my opinion. I had a full Factory Aero, so I am probably biased to the complete factory package/look.
I think the front spoiler with the side skirts and no tail looks better than only the tail - I've seen that too.
On the flip side, it's your car and your money, so do what makes you happy.

I agree with the tuner comment. The frt bumper and skirts look good less the taco. But the taco alone? That's like a taco with out the rice and refried beans. I need to read up re: the down force aspect.

Honestly I think the rest of the aero kit is visually over rated. I think it will look fine and no one other than another p-car owner will even know and actually a lot of p-car owners will not even know.
I say go for it!
