Hate to say it, but the Porsche driver is totally at fault. Time to pay attention. And $185,000, he wishes it was worth that. Hopefully the area where the hinges attached to the body is not too badly damaged. This will show on the CarFax!!

Should buff right out...

was his hand still attached to the door?

Reminded me of the OLD joke..

A lawyer is driving down the street with his arm out the window. Another car swerves too close and sideswipes him, causing severe damage to his car, and dismembering his arm. The lawyer pulls over to the side and jumps out of his car, immediately lamenting the damage to the other driver. "My car! It was a brand new Porsche! How are you going to make this up to me?! You better have insurance." The other driver looks disgusted and says "You lawyers are all the same. You care so much about money you didn't even notice your arm is gone!" The lawyer looks down at his arm and exclaims "Oh my god...my Rolex

Saw more photos on one of the other threads. A chick was driving, then afterwards...leaning against the car on her cell phone.

Cool I can fix it.

"Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it. "

It's not that, it's called entitlement. You see/sense that kind of attitude here in Southern California.

"I have an expensive car and the world revolves around me. I need to get out of my car. I will fling my door open to get out. I should be avoided when I open the door."

Gotta love it.

Owning a 997 Turbo Cabriolet does not mean you passed any sort of intelligence tests. I'm gonna think that he's not going to get anywhere near $185K back on that car in the immediate future!! I'm going to guess that the leather on the door panel will have to be replaced!

Yeah, I see your point. Round here you find those types and they don't have to be in an expensive car, it still has to be about them.

That's the perfect mod for a cabrio - everyone's going to want to remove their doors now!
