By the way, if I wanted a 997 I would of bought one. Spending $30K on a $40K car is not by any means, being stuck with a 996.

Since you are so concerned about what other people think, lets create a poll and see who prefer's your ride versus mine.

Okay, im sorry in advance but you were the closest person I could lash out on. heheh.

No please tell me what you really think!

No worries man let it all out, that's what this forum is for sharing opinions, ideas and tech solutions (not to mention venting of course).
It all comes from the same place, the passion we have for our rides.
Anyone who doesn't defend his ride is a ***** ... (hey hang on a second... I'm not defending mine).

Like I said "you probably have some thoughts of your own on my headlight mods" (I said headlights, not whole damn car!!!)
Different folks different strokes.

Re "your's versus mine" dude my ride has got so much attitude she KNOWS she's sexy!

Cheers,

Sid.

Maybe I just suffer from low self-esteem or something, but I've always kind of taken the view that Porsche has better car designers than I am.

Hey OmenRC51, how are you headlights holding up? I like the look and called Accutint a little while ago but now, I think I will follow through with getting your style tint. Do rock chips nick away at it and expose the headlight underneath? My concern will be my headlight washers. I read somewhere that your headlights never had any so you didn't have that to worry about when covering.

Head light issue is similar to the rear bumper filler issue on the early 911dinner vs the post 1974 cars. Keep it stock or buy the model you want.
