Dozens of Porsches on Beech Mtn.
Was leaving Beech Mtn. NC today and saw 60 or more Porsche 928s at the top of Beech Mountain, and dozens more going up to the summit. The town of Banner Elk was filled with Porsche 928s headed for the mtn as well. I know they aren't 911s, but it was breathtaking to see so many beautiful Porsches climbing up the numerous switchbacks heading for some sort of get together in North Carolina. Maybe somebody will chime in from the 928 forum with comments or pics.

my buddy has a bad azz 928 and you are right - its not a 911... they can be mean, hot, fast, and sound amazing !!
I am a big fan of the 928's but they scare me too much to own one... maybe someday

My wife thought they were 911s when she spotted them earlier, so I was expecting 911s, however, there were so many examples it was hard not to pay notice. Like our 911s, some were stock and others were really tricked out. It made me miss not having my Porsche with me.

Wish I had a camera with me. Thanks for the videos though, that shows how straight the roads are on Beech. Hope you 928 guys will post some pics to back me up. Thanks.
