My daily driver is now a 2012 Hyundai Veloster. Not a bad car, in fact quite nice with the tech and appearance package, but I will own a 911 again when I am back to work again.
Steve, I believe I am the lucky new owner of #1083. Purchased back in October 2012. Just found this forum love. Absolutely love the car and treat it very well.

I've seen pics of 40AEs with other spoilers - I posted a few of them for you, too. Other than replacing the pumpkins I've kept mine stock and prefer that look, but to each his own. Good luck with your purchase. The 40AE is a magnificent car in all respects. Post some pics (and let us know what number of 1963 it is) if/when you get it.
Amazing post. Thank you so much. Any shots from the front quarter angle?

Default spoiler pics

Glad I could help. Assuming you mean Electric Lizard's car, that pic came from his RL sale posting some time ago. Here's the link where you can find all of his pics. Hope this is what you're looking for. If you still need others PM me. https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...-996-sold.html

Fellow 40th anniversary owners....do you think the upcoming release of the 50th anniversary 991 will result in increased valuations of the 40th?

Nice... why the Tire Rack advertising?

I think the new 50th anniversary makes ours more valuable... maybe someone will collect each decade special edition...

Car is for SCCA autocross. All of the national-level events are tire rack sponsored and you have to run that decal along with a bunch of others. I just kept that one on there from the last event for fun.
