Shoot me a PM! I live in DC and would be fun to meet up and help represent. I believe there is another 40th owner that moved here recently that we can maybe get to attend.

Default 40th AE's invited to Boardwalk Reunion 2021, October 16, 2021

This year the featured models are Anniversary and Weissach Editions - bring your AE's to Boardwalk Reunion (we'll be there with 835). So far there are 2 others coming too! Check it out at www.boardwalkreunion.org - the featured models park in front of the Music Pier Auditorium, where the 914's were in 2019 (in the photos). Hope to see some of you there, it is pretty cool to actually drive up and park on the boardwalk. :-)

Thanks Pete! She's pretty much all original except for the mufflers. 110k miles but seems to be very well cared for. I did see that in the directory this car used to be owned by another forum member maybe ten years ago, so that's cool.

My four year old son is beside himself with the purchase and loves riding in it. He loves telling me what RPM I'm at, which is hilarious.

Taking her spot in the garage next to my Silver over Black E36 M3 that is destined for track duty.

I'm interested in buying a 40th and enjoying this thread. Clearly 911User has put on many many miles, would be curious how many other owners are above 100K miles and going strong. My interest is getting a car to drive and enjoy, not have a garage queen.

Not quite there yet as I just rolled over 90K but should be hitting the 100k marker by end of next year.

any pics of the whole car? I gotta know how a 996 with that many miles has held up. That must be the highest mileage one out there.

996 can definitely double as a farm vehicle. With the spare out I was able to fit 4 bags of mulch
