Default So Tim doesn't freak out, pics of my new car :)

I know, I know, it's a frickin disease. I added yet another car to the stable. This time I added a Turbo.

Specs:
2003 Turbo
Slate Grey Metallic (photos do not do it justice. Amazing in person!)
Natural Grey leather (again, amazing in person. It's really black but a nice upgrade)
Sport Techno Wheels
Baby seats for the 2 year old and 5 month old (reason I bought the TT over another GT3....back seats)

Have a few misc items I (or the dealer) am going to install this week as well:
X73
Tint
Sport pedals (aluminum with the rubber grips and Porsche script)
997 SSK
Garage door hack
Non smokers kit
Clear/Smoked side markers
Dension Gateway 500
Thinking about adding the "quad" tip for the exhaust. (SUGGESTIONS WHERE TO BUY?)

I saw it yesterday in the turbo forum and couldn't believe my eyes. What a pristine example of a Porsche. I'm having difficulty with your long list of Pcars, how will you decide which one to drive on a daily basis?

Thanks. It was a VERY VERY VERY exhausting search to find the perfect one. You'd be amazed how many people don't take care of their cars.

As far as what to drive...............

Track weekend? Spec Boxster Racecar
Sunny Day cruising with the wifey? CAB
Cruising around by myself or with my little boys? Turbo

See....wasn't that simple?

And a couple interior shots. I'll take some better pics this weekend when Scott (SH||NC) teaches me how to use my camera

Dell, you are one determined guy! Your decisions in life have put you where you are, and IMO you are not lucky, but very good at making the right choices!

Bitchen' new ride!

Very nice Turbo!

and quite an impressive collection of P-cars I might add.

Most impressive in todays dire economic times, where everyone seems to be taking a hit, the lucky ones treading water, and a very few able to make extavagant purchases. Just curious what line of work you are in?

are they hireing? lol

Nice looking car, Dell. Not to pick nits, but is the trunk popped or something? The gap looks too large to be closed but too small to be open.

Slate on black, looks familiar! I have the same combo on my 997 and LOVE it. You're right, photos do it no justice.

That's a gorgeous car with great options. Nice find. Drive it like ya stole it (and with prices as they are, I assume you did!)

Oh, and PLEASE don't tint... it's so nice as-is.

Good catch. It is open. I forgot to close it when I was looking in the front boot.

I can't take all the credit for my purchases since my wife is the major bread winner in my family now (her M.D. trumps my Ph.D. financially) as I went back to teaching instead of consulting. It allows me to have a great life and be able to play with the cars and spend time with my boys. If I'm not in class I'm working from home. The pay sucks in academics but it is VERY rewarding.

If my wife ever decided to change careers or move to a part time schedule, I'd go back to consulting and wearing a coat and tie again....YUCK!
