yea, lots of them... go hang out at the track, shops, tech sessions and spend time getting to know them, give them something (even if just a bit of a trusted companionship, time, help what ever you have to offer) - let them find out who you are and what you are about and you will have no problem finding people willing to let you drive all kinds of cool cars.

but be aware, if the reward is what you seek, it will not come to pass

This thread was pure punishment until I got to the post from LongStrangeTrip...

OP- you have the mind of a child and do not deserve the admiration of others who wish
they had more.

My answer to "How fast have you had it?" is "105 mph." (I feel that's respectable since it is 35 over the highest speed limit around where I live). The question that annoys me comes next: "Well how fast will it go?" inevitably followed by a look at the speedo and an announcement that it will go 180mph. I suppose if I changed to a 200mph speedometer, the car would be even faster?

Man, some of you guys act like you drive an F430 Scuderia. Calm down, it won't hurt you to be nice to curious people.

& what's up with all the "young" 30 something year olds who are like "They probably just wanna know how someone as young as myself is successful enough to drive such an exotic car" ... You mean a used 11 year old Porsche with 300 thousand miles & RMS issues? Lol, I love my 996 as much or more than most of you, but there's no reason to have a huge ego over it. Lets get back to reality guys.

I bought my MKII at 18 years old & I've never been a douchebag about it.
