Random People Asking Year
#17
Also, I have never had one person ask what year my car was [other than those folks that need it - insurance, DMV, etc]

yea the brakes are more than a lot of others out there, but the cars brakes perform a lot better as well....yea I guess repairs and maintenance do cost a lot more than most cars, but I'd rather pay on a car that I actually like than one at I don't. When I maintain mine I feel good for doing it, when I would maintain my other cars I used to hate it.

My Audi is a TT. Don't confuse the guy by using that term when referring to your car....Porsche calls it a 911 Turbo (not a TT). He'll feel better knowing that he's been given the proper name of the car.

Be nice now. Some of those misfortunate people end up being hired as CEO's and other corporate heads because they know to keep their mouths shut when the government is seeking criminal intent from actions taken

I went to 'Tire Barn' this past weekend to have my rear tires mounted. Got there at 8 in the morning. As I pulled in, 6 kids working there treated me like 'The Man'. It was like I had my own pit crew! One kid looking to find the wheel lock key proceeds to open the rear deck lid. The look on his face was priceless. With a sheepish grin he said 'We don't get alot these in here".
And yes they asked "How fast have you had it?".........but not the year.
