If you paint your splitter it may look okay for a while, but once it scrapes something it'll end up looking worse than before.

Wow Bob. Sounds like you got off pretty lucky there considering what the damage could have been. Glad you had the clear bra

That spoiler will get nicked and scraped regardless being so low to the ground. I'd take some wet/dry sandpaper and smooth out to the best of your ability and leave it as is until something really terrible happens to it, and then replace.

I am afraid, and not discounting your Bondo skills , that getting too involved with it will not improve the look.
