Default Oil leak; pics

Had rear tires mounted and while they had the car up, I decided to take a look under the engine and look what I found. The bottom right side seems to be leaking real bad. Any ideas where this could be coming from. How bad. 00 C4

Maybe your oil filter is loose or it has a bad o-ring?

Considering the leak is directly behind the oil filter, that makes good sense to me. Thanks Dave

clean it - and recheck..... could be from far away (sending unit) or right there at the filter - now you know you have a leak, clean it and watch for new oil....follow it home

So I got under 2 Hondas and an Acura yesterday. 2001 Odyssey with 110,000 miles, 2004 Element with 60,000 miles and 2000 Acura RL with 150,000 miles.

I did tranny fluid change for all 3 yesterday. Fun.

My point? There was not a single oil leak anywhere.. and everything as dry as hot summer day in Arizona.

What's up with our $80,000 P-Cars dripping oil?? Where is this German Engineering??

My buddy's 100,000 mile Camry has a serious RMS leak.

Also, as complexity increases so does the opportunity for failure.

What a filthy car! No wonder you don't notice stuff like that until late in the game. Clean it all off, drive it some more, and then look where the seep is. Could be just some loose fasteners.
